Our little girl is finally here! She was born on July 1st at 12:42 pm. I had a c-section and had to have general anesthesia. Don't go that route if you can help it, waking up from it is the most painful experience because you have no drugs in your system! But anyway, I would do it all again. Here are some pictures of my Itsy Bitsy. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 14 ounces and 18.5 inches.

37.5 weeks prego!

David and I went to Ocean City, New Jersey over a week ago. It was so beautiful! Not too hot and the water felt so nice! The first picture was taken on Saturday on our way to a friends baptism. I only have 8 more days to go until my c-section! July 1st is fast approaching!!

Been a while

Well, I am now 36 weeks along! I am so happy because my hubby is home from deployment and we now have our house on the market. Be praying that we are able to sell before we move this fall. We don't know when we are moving, or to where, but we do know we are.

I went to the doctor yesterday and my baby has dropped! I have started waddling, and I'm guessing that started when she dropped. It's pretty funny. She is at zero station and I am 80 % effaced. Now my appointments are every week. My doctor is a little concerned I will go before my scheduled c-section, which is slightly over a week before my due date. But she told me what to do in case that happens, and it will all be good.

David and I have been doing lots of work on our house, the flower gardens and packing things up to make the house ready to show. He goes back to work on Monday. It has been so very nice to have him off work for 2 weeks! We even took a little vacation to Cape May and stayed at a bed and breakfast for 2 nights. We had a lot of fun.

I should post some pictures...I will later though.

So...my puppy is SO ADORABLE!!! haha.

My neighbors took me to Babies-r-us to pick up the crib. It was too big to fit in my car. After I got it home I worked ALL DAY on it, all by myself! And I got it all set up! I'm pretty excited.

Yoga, tea and heating pads...and 29 weeks 2 days pregnant!

Lately I can not sleep. I hate it because I kind of like sleep. It keeps me energized and makes me want to get out of bed in the morning. Unfortunately, without sleep I just want to lay there...but the other problem is that laying there hurts my back SO BAD! My back seems to hurt all the time. It's quite annoying to not have my hubby around to give me a good back rub. I'm going to have to remind him of that point. OH HOW I SUFFER!!!! heehee.

Anyway, I bought a body pillow Monday night to try out and see if it would help. I went to babies-r-us and looked at all the different ones they had. Can you believe that it was almost $60!!! How crazy! But, I got it because I'm pretty desperate at this point. It was pretty comfy to cuddle with! I still slept like garbage though...not that I really know how "garbage" sleeps.

It has been pretty warm lately, and I'm stubborn and won't turn on my air conditioner because it just isn't that hot out yet...I also won't leave any windows open at night because I'm a chicken without my hubby here. But last night I got the stairs down with a hanger so that I could get up into the attic (I tried jumping to grab the handle and realized, HEY! I have a GREAT BIG BELLY!!) and I brought down my fan. I also opened the window in my room. I set it all up and got my fan going so my room would cool off while I was still up. I then went and did yoga, and then drank some hot tea while using a heating pad on my back. Let me just tell you that I slept like I wasn't even pregnant last night! Well, almost, I still had to get up to pee. haha.

I'm pretty happy this morning!

Ok, so I'm really bad at blogging! LOL. It is all ready so beautiful outside today, it is 60 degrees and only 7:30AM. Glorious spring!!

On Tuesday I will be 29 weeks pregnant! I can hardly believe it. I cleaned and organized my baby room, and now I just have to wait for the crib to come in! I had to order it from babies-r-us. Hopefully this week I will get it all set up and looking all cute! But then I will think...doesn't something belong in there?? ...maybe I'll put Costello in there and see how it feels to have a baby in a crib. My puppy is cute!

21 weeks pregnant and getting BIG!

My belly is getting BIGGER!!! In one week it has grown a substantial amount. I'm going to have a house on the front of me before she comes out! Ah yes, and that reminds me...for those who haven't heard yet, David and I are having a little girl! We plan on calling her Elafantina and Ela for short. haha, j/k. The name is a secret!

Doors are scary when they are open

Here's an interesting to do for you! ...My daddy drove me home on Friday. As we were walking to the house we walked into the screened in porch in the back. Lo and behold, my back door is WIDE OPEN!!!!

Don't worry, I'm safe. I was so glad my Dad was with me though. Turns out there was a huge wind storm a few days after I left and it probably blew open then. So, my back door was WIDE open for probable right at 2 weeks. Nice.

David's Colonel is having someone come down tomorrow to install deadbolts so that won't happen again.
